This policy explains how KEEPIQ uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies on the website and on the KEEPIQ appliance.
1. On this website
The KEEPIQ marketing site does not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies or browser storage may be used to provide functions you request, such as maintaining a session during checkout or remembering a privacy or cookie preference.
Where these technologies are strictly necessary to provide the requested service, they do not require consent.
2. On the appliance
The KEEPIQ appliance uses limited local browser storage to provide its interface and offline functionality.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Setup PIN session | Signed, HTTP-only session confirming that the Setup PIN has been entered | Session |
| Local storage | Stores interface preferences such as sidebar state, last room and voice settings | Until cleared |
| Offline queue | Temporarily stores changes made while offline so they can be replayed when connectivity returns | Until synced |
This information remains part of the local appliance environment and is not used by KEEPIQ for advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. Third parties
We do not embed advertising networks or social-media tracking widgets on the KEEPIQ website or appliance.
If you choose to enable an optional third-party integration — such as an AI provider, Home Assistant or cloud sync — that service may use its own cookies, storage technologies or other data-processing mechanisms.
Your use of those third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
4. Controlling cookies and local storage
You can delete cookies and local browser storage through your browser settings at any time.
Deleting KEEPIQ appliance storage may reset locally stored interface preferences or pending offline information.
Removing the appliance session cookie does not remove your inventory. It simply means you will need to enter the Setup PIN again when a protected action requires authentication.
