1. Grant
We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to install and run KEEPIQ Core on one device identified by its serial number (format PIB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), for your own private or internal business use.
The licence does not expire and is non-transferable except as expressly provided in this EULA.
2. Extras
Paid Extras are one-time feature licences bound to the same device serial.
They do not expire, do not renew and do not require a recurring subscription.
A time-limited trial may be activated once per device and begins only when you explicitly choose to start it.
3. Reinstallation and hardware replacement
You may reinstall KEEPIQ on the same licensed device without purchasing another licence.
Your licence and purchased entitlements are bound to the device serial. Settings → Identity exports an encrypted identity file; importing it on a rebuilt or replacement device restores the same serial and entitlements, so migration stays under your control. If that identity export is lost and the hardware can no longer be used, contact KEEPIQ support to rebind your entitlements to a new serial.
A single licence may not be used to run KEEPIQ on multiple devices at the same time.
4. Restrictions
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, rent or commercially distribute the KEEPIQ software or your licence;
- offer KEEPIQ as a hosted service to third parties without our written agreement;
- circumvent or interfere with licence checks, device-serial binding or entitlement controls;
- remove or alter copyright, attribution or brand notices contained in the software.
Reverse engineering, decompilation or disassembly is prohibited except to the extent that such restriction is not permitted under applicable mandatory law.
5. Your data
You retain all rights in the inventory data and other content you create or store using KEEPIQ. We claim no ownership rights in that data.
By design, KEEPIQ does not have access to the inventory data stored locally on your appliance.
Exports and encrypted backups are available directly from the appliance, allowing you to retain copies of your data independently of KEEPIQ.
6. Open source
KEEPIQ includes third-party open-source software and components.
Those components are governed by their respective open-source licences. Where the terms of an applicable open-source licence conflict with this EULA, the open-source licence takes precedence with respect to that component.
The applicable notices and licence texts are available under OSS Licenses.
7. Warranty and termination
Mandatory statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
Beyond those statutory rights, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided “as is” without additional warranties.
We may terminate this licence if you materially breach this EULA and, where the breach can be remedied, fail to remedy it within a reasonable period after being notified.
Where a material breach cannot reasonably be remedied, termination may take effect immediately.
Upon termination, your right to use the proprietary KEEPIQ software ends and you must stop using and remove it from devices under your control.
Terms that by their nature are intended to survive termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, restrictions and applicable open-source licences, remain unaffected.
